What does the following quote tell you about the city and society in general? "But you do know about genetics don't you? Sure i know all about genes. I knew two sister, uglies, who looked almost the same. But parents and children? That's just weird."

It tells me that the city knows about genes but people don't know that children get their hair color and stuff from their parents. It also tells me people never look like their parents.
