Shay shows Tally the Rusty Ruins. When they get there Tally realizes that whatever happened to those people, they were trying to get away. Then Shay shows her a rollar coaster. Tally learns a rollar coaster is a big ride made out of metal. When Tally decides ti ride it and when she gets to a part of the rollar coaster that has a piece missing, she falls for 5 seconds. Then keeps going on ther rollar coaster with her hoverboard.
1. Shay and Tally look around the Rusty Ruins.
2. Shay shows Tally a rollacoaster.
3. Tally and Shay ride their hoverboards on it.
4. Tally falls because there is a hole in the coaster, but only falls for 5 seconds and kept riding.
5. Shay wants to show Tally somebody, Tally agrees.

Describe the Rusty Ruins. What are they?What happened during this time period?
Everyone was ugly and there were too many of them and they were all stupid. They are ruins of the time people were all ugly and stupid. Rollar coasters were in this time period, cars on rubber wheels. and houses that were bigger than Garbo Mansion.

Define Peer pressure. Thnk of a time when it happened to you or someone you know and explain the situation in a paragraph.
Peer pressure is when someone pressures you into doing something you don't want to do. My brother, sister and I were at Six Flags over Texas and I didn't want to ride on the Texas Giant, but if i couldn't ride on on it then one other person had to stay with me and they wouldn't be able to ride on the ride. So thay told me I don't go I would stay by myself with all the people at six flags that could easily kidnap me. So of course I rode the ride and found out it wasn't as scary as i thought it would be.

"Making ourselves feel ugly is not fun."...."This whole game is just designed to make us hate ourselves." To me this quote means that why play a game that makes you want to be pretty and just make yourself feel ugly.
"Everyone judged everyone else based on their appearence. People who were taller got better jobs......people killed one another over stuff like having different skin color." To me this quote means almost everyone hated each other besides themselves and killed people because of it.
"It's the only way to make people equal." To me this quote means somebody thinks everybody becomes equal when they become pretty, but in truth everyone is equal because we are all human and have a heart.

Back to the Future, they are used the same way pretty much, but the hoverboards can't fly over water. I can't upload a video.

Why do you think the new pretties don't come back to Uglyville to visit? Describe their physical & mental transformation into new pretties.
I don"t think they come back to Uglyville because they are so happy that they just turned pretty why would they want to go back to the place where they were ugly. The doctors cut open their skin and take it off. they then put new skin on them. They stop doing things that will cause them to get dirty or unpretty. They put new lips, eves, ears and everything that is ugly and make them pretty.

History of Bungee Jumping

Bungee Jumping was originally an ancient ritual or right of passage for the "vine jumpers" of Pentecost Island in the Pacific Ocean Vanuatu group. Characterization Tally- Tally is an ugly that lost her friend because he turned into a pretty. She is 15 years old almost 16, she has a scarr on her hand from when he and Peris took a penknife and cut themselves. sweet girl

Caracterization Peris- A new pretty who just turned 16 and lives in a party house. He has flawless skin and no longer has the scarr him and Tally used to have.

How do you feel about the friendship of Tally and Peris?Are they true best friends?Why or why not?I think they were friends but Peris became a pretty and it all changed.No, because Peris thinks of himself better than Tally because he is a pretty and won't be her friend until she is a pretty.

Why do you think Tally chose to wear a mask to the party that was deamed "white tie"? I think Tally chose to wear the mask , so that no one would see she was an uglie and so that she could talk to Peris.

A form of disguise. It is an object that is frequently worn over or in front of the face to hide the identity of a person and by its own features to establish another being. This essential characteristic of hiding and revealing personalities or moods is common to all masks.
How does this relate to Tally's decision? I think it relates to Tally's decision because it just tells er it can hide her face very well.
